Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

LinkNewsletter is a free AI email newsletter generator. This policy describes what we collect, why, and how you can control it.

2. What we collect

  • Account data: your email address, an optional display name, and a hashed password when you sign up.
  • Generation data: URLs, text, and prompts you submit to generate a newsletter, plus the generated output. We store these so you can revisit them in your dashboard.
  • Payment data: we do not store card numbers. PayPal processes payments and returns only an order confirmation ID which we save against your account.
  • Usage data: a small local counter (browser localStorage) tracks free-tier generations so we can enforce the one-per-visitor limit.
  • Basic technical data: IP address and standard request logs kept by our infrastructure provider for security and reliability.

3. How we use it

  • To provide the Service — generating newsletters, saving your history, showing your account.
  • To process payments and unlock lifetime access.
  • To fight abuse, spam, and fraud.
  • To improve the Service (anonymised, aggregated only — we never sell your data).
  • To send occasional important account emails.

4. AI processing

To generate newsletters we send your input (URL content, text, or prompt) to an AI model provider. These providers process the input to produce the output. We never grant them a licence to train models on your content, and we send no account or payment data along with it.

5. Third-party providers

We use trusted vendors to run LinkNewsletter, including:

  • Hosting and database — for auth, storage, and serverless functions.
  • PayPal — for payment processing.
  • AI model provider(s) — for generation.

Each vendor has its own privacy policy and processes data only to deliver its service to us.

6. Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies and localStorage to keep you signed in and to count anonymous-tier generations. We do not use advertising cookies. If we ever add analytics, we will use a privacy-friendly, cookieless provider and disclose it here.

7. Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or ask us to delete your account at any time. Deleting your account removes your saved newsletters and profile. Payment records are retained only as required for tax and fraud purposes.

8. Data retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. Generated newsletters are kept until you delete them. Server logs are rotated regularly.

9. Security

Passwords are hashed. Payments are handled by PayPal. All data flows over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password.

10. Children

LinkNewsletter is not directed at children under 13. Do not create an account if you are under 13.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version.

12. Contact
